Your talents belong in a world-class environment that includes comprehensive and coordinated neuroscience programs supported by 5 neurologists (with one more joining this summer), 2 pediatric neurologists, 2 neurology nurse practitioners, 4 neurosurgeons, 2 neuroradiologists, 1 neurointerventional radiologist, and 6 adult physiatrists.
- New Neuroscience Center of Excellence and Comprehensive Stroke Center being built.
- Current rotations are 1 week hospital coverage/3 weeks clinic coverage. When fully staffed, rotation will be 1 week hospital coverage/7 weeks clinic coverage
- Neuroscience unit is located at St. Mary’s Medical Center and includes an ICU step-down unit and general beds. St. Mary’s is a 333-bed regional tertiary care hospital. Inpatient rehababilitation unit is located at SMDC Medical Center, a 165-bed hospital.
- Practice supported by a wide variety of specialty services and procedures including state-of-the-art electroneurodiagnostics, all new digital EEG/Video evoked potential equipment, intraoperative monitoring, depth electrode recordings, a regional sleep disorders center, invasive cardiology, rehabilitation services and comprehensive CT and MRI services.
- Opportunities exist to specialize in stroke, dementia, headache, neurophysiology, intraoperative monitoring, neuro critical care/neurology hospitalist and other neurology specialties.
