Improve health care through research.

The Essentia Institute of Rural Health is actively working toward improving health and health care for rural patients through research and education. The institute supports clinical, translational, and health services research and health sciences education across Essentia Health.

Essentia Health physicians and scientists are involved in more than 350 clinical trials and active research projects. The institute collaborates with other top healthcare and educational organizations, including Duke University, Mayo Clinic and Cleveland Clinic.
